Semolina dessert (İrmik helvası?)

I've come to you again with a dessert recipe.

Materials

2 cups semolina

125 grams of butter

1.5 cups of granulated sugar

3 cups of milk

cinnamon powder

*Key point*

The most important trick of making semolina halva is to stir the semolina in oil continuously and without stopping, and to ensure that the semolina is roasted well without letting it burn. A roasting time of about 5-8 minutes will be sufficient to achieve this consistency. According to your taste, after closing the bottom of the milk, you can put vanilla in it, or you can add cinnamon.

Take milk and sugar in a saucepan, stir until the bottom of the stove is turned on and the sugar is completely dissolved. When the sugar is completely melted, you can close the bottom of the syrup.

Take the butter in a non-stick pan,

As soon as the butter melts, continue frying until the color of the semolina is caramel. Next, add the hot sweetened milk. At this stage, add the milk gradually as it may splash.

Stir the semolina until it absorbs all the milk and has a pasty consistency.

Cover the bottom and after it gets warm, shape it as you want and put it on a serving plate. You can serve it cold or warm after garnishing it with cinnamon. Enjoy your meal! 😋
