Getting to Know Bulgaria šŸ‡§šŸ‡¬

Hi, we met Tedi after Kalo. Tedi and our ESC volunteers told us another useful training for Sara and me. The subject was about getting to know Bulgaria and its socio-cultural characteristics better. Tedi also brought some interesting traditional objects and the book "Kƶse Bose" to visualize their culture and the most popular Bulgarian children's literature.

She gave such good information about Bulgaria that I fell in love with Bulgaria šŸ¤©

I would like to tell you briefly what Tedi told us. Bulgaria is a country located on the Balkans side. It borders Serbia and Macedonia in the west, the Black Sea in the east, Romania in the north, Greece in the south, and Turkey in the southeast. Bulgaria is the 16th largest country in Europe with a surface area of ā€‹ā€‹110,994 square kilometers.


What is the most famous thing in Bulgaria?


As the queen of flowers, the rose is the elegant symbol of Bulgaria for which it is known throughout the world. Bulgarian rose oil is used by the most expensive world perfume brands. Rose water obtained during the extraction of oil from rose petals is extremely effective against skin inflammation. Rose jam is beneficial for the stomach and intestines.
